Now, police know three men abducted teacher from Kasavanahalli

The Bellandur police have got clues on the abductors of a 28-year-old teacher and the vehicle in which she was taken from Kasavanahalli Main Road on March 18.

They have obtained her statement in which she said the driver and two other men in the car were drunk and they passed lewd remarks at her as she was buying medicines from the medical shop on Kasavanahalli main road at about 9.30 pm on Sunday.

The two men then forced her into the car and molested her while the man on the wheel drove around slowly. She fought with the men and managed to get out of the vehicle at Parappana Agrahara and went to her uncles house nearby. The uncle then took her to the hospital.

Police found in their probe that the woman tried to jump over the counter at the medical shop to grab the medicines she wanted as the shopkeeper refused to give them without a prescription. The shopkeeper, his wife and an assistant overpowered her and took back the medicines.

Neither the woman nor the shopkeeper had lodged a complaint on the incident. “Were on the hunt for the three men and the car in which the victim was abducted and harassed,” Deputy Commissioner of Police -Whitefield Division- Abdul Ahad said.
