Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar Rover Crew inaugurated

Mysuru:  Bharath Scouts and Guides, Karnataka, stands fourth in the country and in quality it holds the second place, said Bharath Scouts and Guides, State Secretary Chinna Swamy Reddy.

He was speaking after inaugurating Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar Rover Crew at Vidya Vardhaka First Grade College (VVFGC), here recently and said that the motto of the Scouts and Guides is to contribute for the development of younger generation physically, mentally, morally, spiritually, emotionally to become a responsible citizen. The fundamentals of this movement are international, educational and open to all.

Reddy opined that an individual should develop ‘KSA’  that is K-Knowledge Enhancement, S-Skill Development and   A-Attitude.

Vidya Vardhaka Sangha Treasurer S.N. Lakshminarayana said that disciplined life leads to long life and efforts can prove that impossible things are possible and it’s never too late to seek the newer world.

Bharath Scouts & Guides, Mysuru District Secretary Abdul Jameel said Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar Rover Crew is always there to live for others and help for others. ‘They live forever who live for others.’

Principal Dr. S. Mari Gowda said that interest is very important for students to join the various wings in the college that is NCC, NSS, Scouts and Guides which in turn contribute in developing leadership qualities and personality development. He told that student’s learning curve can only be completed, that is 25 per cent by books, 25 per cent by teachers, 25 per cent by friends, parents and 25 per cent by experience, that is by joining these voluntary organisations.

Bharath Scouts and Guides, Mysuru, Chief Commissioner  and Hon. Secretary of Vidya Vardhaka Sangha P. Vishwanath, said that ‘Scouting is Outing’ and indulging in such activities helps in building confidence, character and personality development. He expressed his appreciation for the service rendered by Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar Rover Crew during Mahamastakabhisheka at      Shravanabelagola.

Chairman T. Nagaraju, Rover Scout Leader Prof. R. Aravind,  Prof. H.J. Chandrashekar and Rover Scout Leaders from K. Puttaswamy College, Vidyavardhaka High School, teaching and non-teaching staff and students were present, according to a press release.
