HASSAN: Congress leader and state Energy Minister D.K. Shivakumar on Sunday attacked Janata Dal Secular (JDS) state president H.D. Kumaraswamy for reportedly having an understanding with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and urged the party national president and former prime minister H.D. In a rally here he recalled that when Mr Kumar-aswamy moved a no-confidence motion against Chief Minister Siddar-amaiah, all JD (S) legislators, including Kumaraswamy’s brother H.D. Revanna, had supported Mr Siddaramaiah.

The Energy Minister said Mr Kumaraswamy was dreaming of becoming chief minister again, but in reality  Congress party will be retain power by winning 132-135 seats, as per a survey by the party.

He accused Revanna, who is the MLA of Holenarsipur, of not opening his mouth on the floor of assembly. He never brought to notice of the State Government the problems faced by the people of Hassan. Even other JD(S) legislators Shivalinge Gowda and H.S.
