Bengaluru: Four arrested for rowdy’s murder

BENGALURU: The Kumarswamy Layout police have arrested four people in connection with the murder of a rowdy sheeter on Monday. The deceased rowdy, Kumar (30) alias Pichu Kumar, was a member of cycle Ravi’s gang.

According to the police, Kumar got into a dispute over financial issues with one finance Rajanna. Kumar used to threaten Rajanna by citing his closeness to cycle Ravi. This angered Rajanna and he and his accomplices murdered him near Yalachanahalli Metro station on Monday.

3 held for killing youth 
Bengaluru: The police have arrested three people for murdering a 22-year-old man over a petty issue on February 2. The accused have been identified as, Pradeep, 25, Shivaraju, 24 and Satish, 29. The deceased has been identified as Aruna Krishna of Mallatahalli, while his friend Dhillon Somayya (21) was also attacked and sustained injuries. According to police, on February 2, around 12.30 am the Aruna and Dhillon were returning from a bar after consuming alcohol. The three accused picked up a fight with them and later stabbed the duo and escaped.
